Free Internet from Sify Broadband

Well, friends I’m going to teach you how to access internet for free with Sify Broadband as your ISP. But before I start, please try this method at your own will. This article is only for educational purposes.

Requirements:

• A valid customer of Sify Broadband
• A basic knowledge of networking

Sify Broadband uses MAC ID Binding, to bind its users to a given IP Address. Due to which whenever we change our IP, it checks the records with the MAC ID(as it is unique for every LAN Card), if it is valid we get through or else we are blocked.

So let me tell you how can we change MAC ID. There are two ways of changing it, I would be covering both but before proceeding please note down your MAC Address by using GETMAC in Windows.

First Method of changing MAC ID:

• Follow this: Right Click on My Computer->Properties->Hardware Tab->Device Manager->Network Adapter->(Your LAN Card) ->Right Click to view its properties->Advanced Tab->Locally Administered Address->Value(Here we need enter our desired MAC ID)

Second Method of changing MAC ID:

• Many softwares are available which can change MAC ID on real-time.

• It is very simple to change with this, even I prefer this(with no implied risk).

So now we know how to change our MAC ID. But the question arises from where we will get it.

Method for acquiring MAC ID’s:

• We need a software which is capable of scanning a given range of IP address(like 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.255).

• After scanning it will display the results of IP addresses scanned.
• This will only show the users present in your LAN.

Now when we have obtained the result. Do this:

• Open Command Prompt(Windows) type ARP -A.
• It will generate all the MAC ID’s and IP’s displayed in the result.
• We can print screen the page for future references.

Now you just need to copy down the MAC ID and IP Address. After that change them accordingly. And you are done, open your browser and start browsing for free. This is a hit ‘n’ trial method so keep changing till the time you get access.

Note:

If we are able to ping an IP, it doesn’t mean user is online since if he has disconnected from the internet but has not removed the cable then also we can PING him.
